Why don’t you…
* Buy a beautiful tin of artist’s pencils? A magnificent sketchbook filled with blank parchment paper? Fill the pages with delicately shaded scribbles and patterns?
* Take a class? Millinery? Leather work? Embroidery?
* Spend the afternoon at your library in the DIY section? Home interiors? Gardens? Fashion?
* Keep an old fashioned scrap book? Filled it with torn pages from magazines? A whole page of colours you love? A page of beautiful blondes? A page of coffee tables?
* Colour code your wardrobe? Start with neutrals hanging at one end of your wardrobe and slowly work your way to patterns and brights?
* Get out your sewing machine? Whip up a few cushion covers? A couple of pretty head scarves? Some drawstring bags to keep your delicates in?
* Make a cake? For no reason? Decorate it with marshmallow flower petals and pink coconut?
* Paint?

My weekend actually ended up remarkably uncreative! This weekend for sure though!

I decided this week that I needed a hobby, so I went to a fantastic Japanese bookshop and bought a book on Origami, and a couple of packets of beautiful Origami paper. This morning I have made a sailboat, a candy dish and a water bomb. My coffee table is covered in my wonky efforts! Now I feel like baking a cake…. maybe marshmallow flower petals?

I really need to focus more on creativity but I'm trying to declutter atm, the two things tend to mutually exclusive!

I'm doing the same as grant. Building my folios, I'm doing 3 folios this year for 3 different subjects, That'll just soak up all my creative juices! (I feel weird saying/typing that)

Folios are kind of fun though… I always loved doing art/drama folios.
