That is a very good question and I’m having to think, but it could be my very first ever Alannah Hill purchase. It’s a beautiful green jacket with pink candy stripe lining – it’s a size too big for me because that was the smallest size they had and I HAD to have it (one of those times where you have something in your head that you want, and you actually manage to find it in a shop!) but it looks fine on and I love it to death! Admittedly, I don’t wear it “that” often, but I don’t think I’ll ever throw it away.

I actually sold my Alannah Hill stuff this year. Love her stuff but I got over my frilly, lacey, girly phase in my early 20s. Your jacket sounds awesome though. x

I’ve got an amazing midnight blue maxi dress which I bought for $9 at the Newtown Vinnies. It’s the most intricately constructed dress I own and always gets me compliments. I will wear it as long as it fits and keep it for longer.
Also my cowboy boots. <3-

I think I know which one you’re talking about! That was a score.

Classic navy, long line, one-button blazer that I got from Vinnies for $4 years ago. It is so clean, classic and lovely and it looks beautiful with a soft dress as much as with red jeans and heels. Versatile, to say the least.
To be honest, i have a few ‘never to throw away’ pieces. Another is a Cue halter-cute dress that literally never dates. I have worn it to five weddings and never regretted the choice, it is a total ‘Audrey’ dress.

Love it! Not surprised you’ve kept it over all these years. I think mine would have to be a laser cut white pleated skirt.. It’s just incredible!
