If you’ve been following along on Instagram (I’m Smaggle there by the way) you’ll know I’ve crossed the country to Western Australia for a few days on a work trip. I’ve had the best time so far in my 24 hours in Margaret River. We’re staying at Honeyeater Ridge which is normally a yoga retreat but the owners very kindly let our group take over the joint for a week while we’re working here. Yesterday we drove into town and had coffee at Brewshack which was pretty bloody good. They also have gluten free white chocolate chip and macadamia cookies which are mostly excellent. The only down side to the trip so far is that the internet on my phone SUCKS here. I’ve been standing in little 4G hotspots trying to get my work done and it’s driving me mental so please excuse my silence until I’m back in Melbourne early next week. Here are a few snaps from the trip so far. We went for a cruise up to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and had one of those awesome tours you can only get from an old man called Ray who eats lighthouses for breakfast. I also ate an ice cream sandwich in the freezing cold wind because it’s always time for an ice cream sandwich.
This weekend we’re off caving, four wheel driving and visiting a few wineries in the region. I suspect it’s going to be a rather excellent weekend.

I got to spend a beautiful day in that area drinking too much wine. Have fun and go to the chocolate place if you’re a chocolate person. Yummy.
